Where is Hook & Cook?
At the end of San Clemente Pier, 615 Avenida Victoria, San Clemente, CA 92672. Walk all the way out to our blue-and-white striped counter.
What are your hours?
Monday: 9am–4pm; Tuesday: 9am–4pm; Wednesday: closed; Thursday: 9am–4pm; Friday: 9am–sunset; Saturday: 8am–sunset; Sunday: 8am–sunset. Sunset times vary by season; call before a late visit.
What does sunset closing mean?
On Friday, Saturday, Sunday, closing follows sunset rather than one fixed clock time. Call (949) 272-9391 before heading out late. This does not mean we stay open all night for fishing.
Can I order ahead?
Yes. Use our Square online ordering link for pickup. Current checkout availability and pickup timing are shown there.
How can I pay?
Online pickup orders use Square checkout. For current payment options at the counter, please call us.
Do you serve alcohol?
No. Hook & Cook does not serve alcohol, in keeping with the city rule for our concession.
Can you help with catering or a large order?
Call (949) 272-9391 to discuss a large order or catering request. Availability must be confirmed by our team.
Do I need a fishing license on the pier?
A sport fishing license is not required for recreational fishing from California public ocean piers, including San Clemente Pier. All other rules apply, including seasons, size and bag limits, and required report cards.
Is there parking near the pier?
Metered parking is available in the Pier Bowl area near Avenida Victoria. Read the posted meter rules and allow extra time to find a space and walk out.
What about accessibility?
The City lists ADA access at the Pier beach area. Our counter is at the far end of a wooden pier. Call to discuss your specific access needs and check current city notices before visiting.
